Paris-born, internationally acclaimed artist and author LILIANNE MILGROM grew up in Australia, lived in Israel and currently resides in Washington, DC. She exhibits her artwork around the world and is the recipient of multiple awards and residencies. Her work can be found in both private and institutional collections; her articles and essays have appeared in publications such as the Huffington Post, Bonjour Paris, Inspirelle, Ceramics Art and Perception and Daily Art Magazine. In 2011, she became the first authorized copyist of Gustave Courbet’s controversial painting L’Origine du Monde, which hangs in the Orsay Museum in Paris. Lilianne spent close to a decade researching and writing L’Origine. L’Origine: The secret life of the world's most erotic masterpiece is her first novel.
